Cool Projects

Ms. Pat and Ms. Johnna came to visit from Hillcrest.  We made carrots using whales snacks!  Then we read Dr. Seuss books:)

Today for science we talked about air and how it makes planes work.  We learned about the Wright Brothers in one of our reading stories so we made a paper airplane.

We also did an experiment with baking soda and vinegar.  We put baking soda in the balloon and vinegar in the bottle.  Then we put the balloon over the bottle and dumped in the baking soda.  The baking soda and the vinegar made a gas known as carbon dioxide which as it spread out filled up the balloon.  COOL!!
